Land Registry and Cadastre Program
The aim of the Land Registry and Cadastre program is to train intermediate manpower who will work on land registry cadastre studies, aiming to keep and update the land registry, which is one of the transactions in the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre in our country, and to carry out the basic procedures related to the land registry. Those who graduate from the Land Registry and Cadastre program are given the title of "Land Registry Cadastre Technician". The training period of the Land Registry and Cadastre Program is 2 years.

Internship Conditions of the Program
Based on the Gumushane University Vocational Schools Internship Directive, a 30-day internship program is implemented in the 4th semester. With the opportunity to study based on industry, the student also has the opportunity to make choices about the future jobs. The program is compatible with developing technology and market.
Profession Progress
Those who have successfully completed the "Land and Cadastre" associate degree program can transfer vertically to the Geomatics Engineering, Surveying Engineering and Public Administration undergraduate program if they are successful in the Vertical Transfer Exam conducted by ÖSYM (DGS).
Apart from these formal education programs, the graduates of the land registry and cadastre departments have the right to transfer to the open education programs of Atatürk, Anadolu and Istanbul universities. Land Registry and Cadastre Program
Establishment
The Department of Architecture and Urban Planning was opened in 2017-2018 and there is the only program, the Land Registry and Cadastre program within the department. In the 2019-2020 academic year, the Land Registry and Cadastre program started education by taking students.
Mission
By using advanced technologies in every era, raising individuals who can lead the society in the changing world conditions with the investigative, questioning and analytical mindset needed by the public and private sector, respecting human values, and at the same time, by accessing information, producing, sharing and transforming it into life, the society's lifelong education and development It is our duty to contribute to the process.
It is aimed to educate the graduates of this department as individuals who have sufficient professional knowledge, can continuously improve themselves in line with technological developments, have high application skills, and contribute to their country professionally.

It is aimed to train conscious students who can adapt to constantly changing socio-economic conditions and technological developments, according to the needs of the age, to continue our efforts to solve the problem of the need for quality intermediate staff in our region and our country, and to be a respected and leading vocational school.

Duties and Functioning of Department Quality Board
Suggestions are put on the agenda of the department board and discussed. Accepted suggestions are put into practice by the department.

Opinions are taken from people who have worked in the public and private sectors in the past and present on education and training processes, curriculum, graduate profile and employment opportunities. The department exchanges experience, knowledge, experience and ideas with external stakeholders in each academic year, and receives suggestions and opinions on students' individual career determination preferences.

ACADEMIC
Academic Staff Planning of the Department
Academic Personnel Planning of the Department is carried out within the framework of the "Regulation on Determination and Use of Academic Staff Norm Staffs in State Higher Education Institutions".
Development Opportunities of Academic Staff
It is possible for academic staff to participate in education or academic activities organized both in the country and abroad in order to develop and train themselves, provided that legal processes are fulfilled. On the other hand, academic staff can attend the project and academic publication writing trainings given by the BAP unit. Academic staff are encouraged to participate in scientific meetings and learning activities organized at home and abroad.
EDUCATION
Student Admission Requirements of the Department
To be successful in the TYT (Basic Proficiency Test) exam conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). Admission conditions for foreign students are announced on the university's website at the beginning of each academic year.
Student Qualification Requirements
Conditions to be met by students;
a) To have passed all the courses in the curriculum with at least a DC degree,
b) To have a weighted average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00,
c) Having done an internship

Graduation Requirements
Students who successfully complete all of the courses available from the programs for a total of 120 ECTS and achieve a weighted grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 are entitled to graduate.
Employment Areas of Graduates
Land Registry and Cadastre technicians are employed in public institutions and organizations and private sector works that produce and use the map and map information that constitutes the title deed and land registry. As the private sector, in Survey Engineering offices; in the public sector, organizations affiliated to the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, organizations affiliated to general directorates such as Land Registry and Cadastre, Iller Bank, Highways, AFAD, Railways, General Command of Mapping, MTA, DSI, TPAO, General Directorate of Agricultural Reform, Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs. are employed in organizations and municipalities.
